The final round of the 2010 Manx Trials Club
Championship took place on Sunday 30 January. There were four laps of 8
sections in bright but cold conditions at Cooil Slieu.
Josh Brain had a fantastic ride to take the
Expert class on 11 marks from Sean Quaye, who was onboard his new Ossa, on
31 and Michael Jackson on 47.
The Clubman class was won by Jordan Birchall
with a loss of 28 after a closely fought battle with Ed Duggan who had a
couple of fives in the closing stages.
In the Sportsman class Daniel Woods took the
honours with Mike Stevens and Ashley Gardner in second and third spots.
Colin Scarffe stormed the Pre-65 class (on the
Sportsman route) losing a miserly 8 marks.
Wayne Wardell had an excellent ride in the
Twinshock class, keeping his head to stay in front of the close family
battle between Graham and Neil Christian, Graham getting the better of Neil
on this occasion by just one mark.
Brandon Bailey took the Youth Intermediate class
and Adam Kelly just pipped Aaron Molyneux for the win in the Youth Novice
class on 28 marks.
