The sixth round of the Manx Trials Club Championship took place at Kings Forest in bright, crisp
conditions on Saturday afternoon over four laps of eight sections for all classes
Nigel put in a Sharp performance on his newly acquired 09 Gas Gas to take the win in the expert class!
Kevin Millward just edged out Robin Arnold for the runner-up spot. Mike Buttimore and Sam Ansermoz
battled all afternoon before Mike got the nod in the Clubman class. Dean Taylor continues to improve and
was not far away in third place.
Rob Taylor had a clear win in the Sportsman class, losing just over half the marks of his nearest rival.
Ride of the Day came from Roy (Ago) Wilson keeping to single figures in the Pre-65 class aboard his
200 Tiger Cub. Phil Readshaw pressed Ago hard until a costly five put him out of contention.
The Twinshock Class saw a surprise win from Dave Megson, who rode extremely well to fend off
Michael Owen.
Lone Schoolboy Expert, Josh Brain claimed the best ride on the expert sections, losing only 34 marks
over the testing course.
The Schoolboy Intermediate Class was won in fine style by Jordan Birchall. Craig Norrey and Carl Owen
were only split by 3 marks for second place.
Callum Millward put up a game performance riding the Schoolboy Novice sections.
