Azzy Paints Manx Trials Club Pre 65 & Twin Shock trial
Round 1
Booilshuggel Saturday 30 April 2011
The Manx Trials Club held Round one of its
2011 Azzy Paints Twin Shock and Pre 65 Trial at Booilshuggel East
Baldwin on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon.
Four of the eight sections proved to be
extremely slippery and accounted for all the marks lost by those competing
for the win.
Stephen Collins won the Pre 65 class and the
trial overall with an amazing loss of just three marks on his Triumph Cub. leaving
Roy Wilson in second on his Cub eleven marks behind.
Brothers Neil and Graham Christian had a close
fought battle both finished on seven marks lost. An early five on section
two was Neil's downfall as he rode the rest of the trial for a loss of just
two marks. Graham snatched the win on furthest clean with Wayne Wardell a
close third.
Paul Doherty claimed first place in the Twin
shock class riding the easy route with Gary Brain and Juan Brain a
creditable second and third respectively.
Many thanks go to the land owners and all
observers.
